I think you are right Helen, it probably won't get more than one bid and that's really too bad. I hope we are both wrong.![]()

I've observed that items with a West Virginia connection seem to do surprisingly well on eBay. Clarksburg things seem to do exceptionally well.
bsmont, you probably already have seen this but I thought I might post in case you are interested.

There's no friends in love, war or china.
Incidentially, I have a 1948 supply company catalog that lists McNicol China in the Old Rose pattern. Under items it lists two saucers, a 5 1/4" narrow rim rolled edge and a 6 1/8" rolled edge non footed one which is described as a "Waldo".
Question: Does that include Carr MugsSusan Said: There's no friends in love, war or china.?

To Bill: Yes, even Carr mugs. I just bid whathisname up for sport, not thinking that I'd really get it. So go forth and snipe me!!! You and I have been known to do the other one in on bids and I never think a thing about it (much).![]()
The RW pictures are long gone but I found a deck of cards and thought the shield might remind us of what it looks like.
