    Default Please Help Identify McNicol Gravy Boat

    Hello to Everyone;
    I am new to this and found this web page as I was searching the internet. Can anyone help identify the pattern on the Gravy Boat. Stamped on bottom McNicol China U 63. This was in my mothers china cabinet and would like to add to this. Thanks.

    Pattern found in a 1951 Catalog listed under Prints on White Body P-93-17. I have a platter in my store of this same pattern.

    McNicol numbered most of their patterns. The pattern name is P-93, the color number is 17. If the decoration was blue rather than the darkish reddish maroon (covering my bases), it would be "P-93-35". The "U63", from the last I heard is a date code, but no one knows what the date codes are, and they follow no readily discernible sequence or order.
