Default Hamburg America Line Cups and Saucers

    Hi,

I have some memorabilia from the Hamburg America Line that I am trying to identify and sell. One set of blue cups and saucers are made by Hutschenreuther Selb Bavaria and another set is a red set; the cup was manufactured by Schönwald, the saucer by Fraureuth. I also have matching small plates for the red set.

I know they are all pre-WWII but anything anyone knows about them would really help me!

    Thanks

It is for the red ones yes! But the cups are more of an expresso cup kind of size (I literally know nothing about them so not the best descriptions I'm afraid). If there's anything else I can find on them it'd be much appreciated (and a value too - my grandfather wants to sell them.)

I'm afraid we can't be any help with values. While we enthusiastically discuss restaurant ware patterns, logos, manufacturers and date codes, one topic we avoid is estimating what these pieces are worth.

The market for restaurant china is extremely variable, and what might sell quickly one day on ebay or in your local antique store might sit for months at another time.

The best way to find general values is to sign up for a fee-based service such as WorthPoint (and WorthPoint has a free trial) or look at Internet sites that are selling RW, such as Ebay, Ruby Lane, Etsy and the Restaurant Ware Shopping link at the top of this page.
