Buffalo China Logo and date help

Hi, I have 4 of these Buffalo China salad plates with an unknown logo (to me)and there's 4 different backstamps. After looking at backstamps I'm thinking around the 40s? I'm seeing MMC but could that column be an 'I" circled with a rope? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Cil

It's from International Mercantile Marine Co., which was in existence from 1902 to approx. 1936. Nice find!

I found an IMMC oval bowl and am thinking about doing an IDwiki entry (along with Cil's photos), but wondered if anyone has any idea where these pieces were used? There's the huge IMMC building in NYC. I couldn't find that there was a dining hall there and I think we have all assumed these saw ship use, right? Just wanted to check with y'all and make sure. TIA!
