Default Creating a sig line (including links to auctions)

    Click on User CP

    Click Edit Profile

Scroll down to the signature box

Anything you type in here as plain text will show up that way, ie. if I type Jackie then Jackie will show in my signature line. You can also add links here, like to your eBay auctions.

Here is an example of what you would do to add an auction link:

My Auctions (or Suzy's Auctions or eBay Auction whatever you would like it to read)

    Replace:

    http://cgi6.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewListedItems&userid=glassenschtuf f&include=0&since=-1&sort=2&rows=25

with the link to YOUR auction list.

Replace: My Auctions (or Suzy's Auctions or eBay Auction whatever you would like it to read)

    with what you want.

Here is an example of what you would do to add a link to your website:

    My Home Page

Once again, replacing the http://withthelinktoyoursite.com and the My Home Page with what you want the site name to say.

    Click update profile.

    Repeat above until it works.

    Or send me an email.

I hate to "bump" topics, but I think that having a sig line that at least has a link to your auctions is really important - not to mention easy promotion of your auctions to an audience of people who are specifically interested in your items!

Besides, we're all nosy and at least like to see how much your treasures go for and cheer you on!

Bump, bump, bump. Some of you are sort of hard to find on eBay!

I have always wanted to do this but I am afraid the instructions read like Greek to me (a technically challanged taking the short bus to PC school kinda gal).

Ok, but here is the really stupid question, what is this link you're talking about. Is it my "My Ebay" page?

There's no stupid question, Flora! No, you don't want the "My eBay" page but you do want the page that has your listings that the public sees.

If you'll tell me your member/store name I'll go get the link for you...I'm sorry, I can't remember your name on eBay!

In the meantime, if you want to have your Mall Store in your signature too, this is the code you'd need (I'm assuming no one else has html capacities here so hopefully this will work). Just copy and paste:

Okay, I found you on eBay! Here's a code for you, and if you don't want it to say floralady you can change it:

Go into User CP on the purple band and click on Edit Signature. That's where you put your store link and also your auction link.
