auction find

at shows people always ask me where i get my pieces. do i go to auctions?
i never go to auctions to find hotel silver and restaurant ware. there never is any. until wednesday my lucky day. hubby was at an auction to bid on old tools. One lot were 4 pieces of silver from the greenbrier resort. he won for 10.00 dollars. i now have 2 large coffeepots, a bread tray and a creamer. unbelieveable. they are so beautiful.
hubby said i wish we were atheists. i wondered what he was talking about. he said if we were we could serve ourselves coffee out of the larger pot on sunday mornings while sitting on the porch reading the paper.

it was certainly my best find.

Very exciting! I never see RW at auctions either.

Nice find! I rarely see hotel silver at auctions. I do see RW but for the most part it's stock.
